Leslie Maxwell is a writer and educator living in North Carolina. She has an M.F.A. in creative writing from George Mason University in Virginia. She was co-founder of the nonfiction section of Phoebe: A Journal of Literature and Art, serving as co-nonfiction editor.
As an instructor of college writing courses, she is interested in feminism and domesticity and in helping students develop ideas through writing.
She loves cats, working in the yard, reading the newspaper, and heist movies.
